Position Description: Screening Techs must be proficient in some or all of the following skill sets:

Blood Pressure: Lots of experience taking blood pressures with a manual cuff and stethoscope is a must.

Finger stick: Experience with using the Cholestech LDX machine and collecting blood with capillary tubes and plungers is preferred. Proficiency in finger sticking, but limited or no LDX machine experience is okay.

Height/Weight/BMI: Minimal experience needed. Individuals with a fitness background fit well in this position.

Phlebotomy: Must be proficient in veni-puncture with strong experience. RN or Licensed Phlebotomist a plus.
Health Coach: Review participants' health results, to include blood pressure, BMI, cholesterol and glucose.

HEALTH SCREENERS AND EDUCATORS: CNA, MA, LPN, LVN, EMT, OR RN PREFERRED
Prior experience working wellness screenings with us or other screening companies is a plus. Bilingual Spanish Speaking also a plus.
Health Screeners:
You must have minimum 2 years experience in one of the following areas:

· Performing finger sticks to test cholesterol and glucose using a Cholestech LDX machine a plus.
· Taking blood pressure using both a stethoscope and manual cuff as well as an automatic cuff
· Checking pulses
· Height/Weight/BMI/ body composition

Health Coaches: Responsible for providing coaching on the following test results:

· Total Cholesterol, HDL, LDL, Glucose, Triglycerides, Blood Pressure and BMI Education & Experience Requirements:
· Bachelor's degree in Health Education with 3 years minimum work experience in Health Education and executing wellness programs.
· Training in motivational interviewing and coaching is encouraged.
· Candidate must have solid verbal and written communication skills.
Health Educators--Education & Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Health Education and/or 3 years minimum work experience in Healthcare, Health Education and/or executing wellness programs.
