*Pastry Cook - You will prepare buttercreams, cookies and bars as well as frost and finish cupcakes. You are also responsible for inscriptions and building/finishing custom and specialty cakes.

*Cake Decorator - You will be responsible for the artistic design and decoration custom and standard cakes and product offerings using buttercreams. You should be proficient in decorating cakes and
desserts with intricate designs while utilizing icing bags and/or paper cones and tips. You are capable of developing the appropriate icing tinting based on custom order specifications.

For both positions, you must have one year of bakery/pastry/kitchen experience in a professional kitchen. A culinary degree with bakery, cake decorating experience is a plus.

Food:
• Huckleberry offers seasonal Farmer's Market inspired food. We use fresh local ingredients whenever possible, with an emphasis on simple yet imaginative preparation.
• At Huckleberry we place a high emphasis on quality ingredients. Much of our produce, meat and dairy is organic, and we try to get to know our suppliers as much as possible. We are health conscious, but not a health food restaurant.
• Huckleberry gets the majority of its produce from the Santa Monica farmer's market.

Bread:
• All of the bread and pastries served at Huckleberry are baked in house. The bread is made using traditional french baking techniques, in a Mondial Forno deck oven. Huckleberry uses organic flours and grains in making all of its breads and pastries.

Service:
• Huckleberry is a quick service environment with a goal of making the customer feel like they are in a relaxed restaurant.
